The bookcase is filled. It now only needs some tinkering to accommodate the TV. The toilet has been broken out and a new start has been made. All pipes have been moved to accommodate the new hanging toilet and in a week or two my dad will stop by again to build a wall around the concealed cistern and to plaster the walls.

Now that Taboe has come and gone the Moots is approaching at the speed of light. I thought I had enough time to leisurely make my costume and props, but now I find myself in a hurry again. Fortunately the main part of my costume is done (pants, dress, coat) and the little hat is nearly done. It's based on this one from Armstreet, but I want to hang some jewelry on it for extra bling. Mine is purple with turquoise and silver.

I still want to make arm warmers and I'll use the discarded first try of the coat sleeves for that. The apron is off the list, apparently no one in my subgroup is going to wear an apron and I don't want to be the only one. I also promised to make some small flags with our logo on it. Those will be painted, not sewn. I wanted to make some jewelry (ear rings, bracelets) too but I don't know if there's enough time for that. I only have this Tuesday because all other evenings are full (Amersical, Extinction meet, belly dance).

Oh, and then there's the character herself too.... for now I only have a set of skills and a short story of her childhood...
