Maladignia's blog
Sitting cat Welcome to my home-cooked journal.
Here you will find my rants about every day life and things that keep me busy.
In the past I have frequently written, but there's no saying if I'll continue on that path. It all depends on how busy I am.
Have fun reading my scribbles.
Taking care of stuff

Well, I'm finally registered with my new doctor here in Enschede. Also made an appointment with my dentist and I brought my locker for repair and already got it back as well (reparations were 2/3 of the price I payed Suus for taking over the thing). I pimped my livingroom with some nice autumn things, made a 'muppet' (sheepskin cover) for my tin whistle and got six meters of velcro tape ('klitteband') for a secret Exodus plot.

I received my Mio C220 at last and already played around with it a bit. It can even plan routes for pedestrians and bicycles. I think I'll drive a small testround with it before going of to Uden next Friday. To get used to the thing.

There's still not much Aon-feeling going on for me. I really need to think about what my character is going to do when she gets there. It would've been nice to begin struggling with a small triangle tent, but I don't have an IC tent so there ends that.
I just really hope it will be at least a bit dry (* looks out of the window and sees pouring rain *) and then I'll amuse myself by doing stupid little things. I usually do amuse myself at larps with stupid little things like writing a diary, braiding wool strands etc. I'm not much of a plot following type. ;-)

And if it won't be much fun I'll have wasted a weekend and some money, but I will have a nice new costume and more driving experience. However, I'm going to try to make the most of it. Now if I could just get the feeling....

Symbols preparations are going better than Aon's. The Varaashi-plot has been mailed to the pack members and SL, the representation stones are done (white nail polish images on black stones). I might pimp my costume a bit and I still need to practise reading Kinon, but the writing is still ok. Also need to finish reading 'The way of magic', but I printed it in the Kinon font, so that will take me a while.
Rob is going to drive us to Symbols, since my mom will be in Ireland with the car. Yay for Rob!

Now, I really need to get back to work, though I don't much feel like it with my stuffed head (got a nose-cold). Hope it will get better before camping at Aon.
