Heard back from Studio Fonkel; they do want to add me to their team but there is just no work for me at the moment. They promised to get back to me when more work comes their way, but for now I'm just stuck and utterly disappointed. And having a bad week...

That sucked as a 'welcome back' message among the other 50 or so mails that were waiting in my inbox. Fortunately there was also some good news; I'm going to join the bellydancing part of Parnassos' 20th anniversary 'party' in December this year. That means lessons on Mondays, starting the 22nd of this month in Utrecht. Level should be high since you had to audition to get in (16 places). My audition was a weird one: sending a video and telling the teacher (Kyria) that she could talk to Roos or Annet for reference. But it worked: I'm in.

The vacation was good, though memories of it are overshadowed by the bad work news. I'm still digitizing the diary. When it's finished I'll post a link to it here.

Tonight back to streetdance, which started again last week (when I was still in Friesland), this time with a new teacher since Marit has to pop out a baby sometime soon. Having bellydancing lessons on Monday means no play at Amersical this year, so I'll probably join as crew. Monday the 15th we get the 'introductory evening'.

This Saturday we plan on getting informed about, and hopefully buying, a new locker machine since the old one keeps snapping the hardest-to-guide-through thread because of a broken part. On Sunday a friend of Matthijs will come over from Belgium. Weekend after that (20/21) we go to a wedding and perhaps do an 'escape room' with friends and the weekend after that one we combine our birthday parties for friends. Then there's a visit to my mom in Apeldoorn and Sibbe Sunday, Moots (though we still have to decide whether to go or not) and then Cadansa for which I bought tickets for Saturday and Sunday. Pfew.. and then we're in October already!
