Busy, busy with work (yes, I do have work again), a persistent cough, Amersical, dancing and of course the attic. So, not much time or energy to blog. However, this is something I found worth mentioning: I bought a new bike today.

Well, it's not exactly new but second hand but to me it's new and it will nicely replace the wreck my old bike was becoming. Lights were flakey when it rains (yes, already got a hood for my dynamo), both supports for the back mudguard were rusted through, chain kept slipping and for a few years my treadle hit my chain-guard every time it went round. Noisy business, cycling. Oh, and the rear tire looked like a quilt and got a hole in the outer tire (patched up with a piece of plastic).

The new one was a nice bargain. It should've cost me € 150,- but because all other candidates (below the 100 mark) seemed to have a flat tire or non working light I got the bike for € 100. Yay! If it doesn't rain tomorrow I'll test the new bike thoroughly and then transfer bags and dress guard from the old wrek.

My first (and probably only, but that's ok) Christmas present!
