Maladignia's blog
Sitting cat Welcome to my home-cooked journal.
Here you will find my rants about every day life and things that keep me busy.
In the past I have frequently written, but there's no saying if I'll continue on that path. It all depends on how busy I am.
Have fun reading my scribbles.
Sewing and X-mas cards

Had a few relaxed weekends with lots of free time and made myself a cool vest (bright blue with bright pink zipper and bright green hood-strings) and started at a top to complement my green/silver Balfolk skirt.

Yesterday started a mock-up of a new medieval dress that I'm going to make. Fucked up something: sewn back and front with right side to wrong side so now the seams are on the outside for the back.. Do'h! But it fits so I'll start on the real thing soon, got some nice fabric for that. Will probably fix the mock-up and finish it some time later, but I'm in no hurry.

Also finally got around to making some X-mas cards. Made 14 X-mas cards and 6 'normal' (happy birthday mostly) cards in one afternoon. Also put a new lamp on my bike that will give enough light to illumen the street in front of me. And this weekend was filled with memorizing Korean words for my taekwondo exam tonight. I think I got the words down, but I'm a bit worried about the taeguks (kata's) because I tend to sometimes mix them up.

X-mas is coming and a lot of shopping still has to be done. Though I already have some gifts for my mother, Matthijs and Chris. This Friday we celebrate SinterKerst with Musilon and I already got gifts for that too. Amazing what you can get for under 5 euros at the Action.
