A week ago the tin whistle Matthijs has bought me was delivered in Enschede. Since I had to go pick up our sleeping bags and some other stuff for the EE Lextalionis/1999 party, I picked up the whistle as well. That afternoon, right before going to Utrecht for said party, I practiced a bit. Earning a 'Oh, is that you, I feared the neighbour kids had gotten a flute' from my mom. Thanks...

After a few hours practise I managed 'Scarborough Fair', 'Old McDonalds', 'The Wild Rover' and 'Whiskey in the jar'. There are some difficult grips and changes for the fingers, and I go a bit slow at those, but still the tunes are recognisable. The instruction book has, next to real music notes, diagrams of which holes should be closed and which opened. Really handy because I can't (yet) read notes. ;-)

Finally had some creative time for myself as well. My mom and her girlfriend bought me 2 books 'How to draw faeries' and I produced 3 lovely little fae in pencil. I made me an Aon costume, finished some old sewing projects and worked on a new EE website look. Also did some prop work for Exodus III, can't talk about that though.

Unfortunately there's still much to do in the coming week(end)s. I have to get into the feeling of my Aon character and prepare some more props. I'm afraid I can't get a nice IC tent in time anymore (I want a specific kind for use at Dummnoni as well). But I did book my mom's car. (too bad I will not own her car until the end of October, her new one keeps her waiting...) And today I ordered a navigation system so I can drive to Uden without Matthijs, since he's not going. It's a Mio C220.

And I need to prepare some stuff for Symbols as well. Like some 'spiritual'-stuff, learning to write Kinon again and I had promised myself to learn to read it fluently as well. (dream on..)

Well, back to the last 15 minutes of work. Hopefully the client will give us the last bit of content before I leave for Enschede again (am in Amsterdam now), because otherwise they'll have a problem this evening when they are going to promote the website in their tv program....
